I am an enthusiastic and passionate dietitian who enjoys making connections with clients and helping them achieve greater confidence and happiness in their health and lifestyle. I acquired my degree from The Ohio State University’s Medical Dietetics program, and am now a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Since graduating, I obtained a clinical position at a hospital. It was during this time where I found that my passion is in one-on-one nutrition counseling. I thrive on being able to truly get to know each of my clients and work alongside them during their personal journey to achieve their health and nutrition goals. Most recently I completed training to earn my certification in LEAP therapy for food sensitivities, and have been pursuing training and mentorship in working with eating disorders.

I was born and raised near Dayton, Ohio. I like to consider myself a travel enthusiast; always looking forward to my next destination. I am also an avid foodie who loves seeking out new foods and restaurants to try with friends and family. My goal is to help others find peace and enjoyment with food while also nourishing our bodies in a healthful way.

Since high school, I knew I wanted to combine my love for fitness, nutrition, and helping others into my career- being a dietitian allows me to do all of this! I went to Olivet Nazarene University and acquired my bachelors degree in dietetics;  I also ran cross country and track for Olivet! From there, I went to Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan to acquire my Master’s degree in dietetics. Through my schooling and experiences as a dietitian, I fell in love with integrative and functional nutrition, and love walking alongside clients as we take a whole-person approach to your health.  For this reason, I am also trained as a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

I am originally from Holland, Michigan, and have since moved to Ohio after getting married. Through my experience as an athlete playing volleyball and basketball in high school, and running in college, I am drawn to working with athletes and helping people combine fitness and nutrition. I love spending time in the sunshine, and weight lifting with my husband. I also help my husband train youth to college-age athletes. A few other things I love are trying new restaurants, and everything and anything to do with Christmas! Helping my clients become the best version of themselves through nutrition and overall healthy living is my passion, and I can’t wait to walk alongside you throughout the process!

My goal of being a dietitian has always been to help other people. After recovering from an eating disorder myself while in high school, I decided I wanted to help others in ways that my dietitians helped me. I believe that all foods can fit into our lives and that food is supposed to be a sense of enjoyment and not of stress.

I attended Olivet Nazarene University where I received my bachelors degree in Dietetics and ran cross country and track.

I then went on to complete my dietetic internship and masters degree in Nutrition at Ball State University. After graduating, I started my career developing a curriculum for a partial hospitalization program for eating disorders before moving to a full-time clinical dietitian position. It was through my experience as an athlete that I found my passion in working with athletes, as well as with those who are struggling with eating disorders.

I am originally from Warsaw, Indiana but have recently moved to Ohio with my husband and daughter.  I love spending my time running marathons, baking cupcakes, watching track meets while my husband coaches, and spending time with family.

Currently accepting new clients for eating disorder recovery, intuitive eating, sports nutrition, and food sensitivity testing.

Ashley Marolo

RD,LD,CLT, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor

I founded Clearcreek Nutrition & Wellness Co (formerly known as Nutrition with Ashley) in 2019 after realizing there was so much more I could offer the world outside of hospital walls. Opening a private nutrition practice was my goal for the past 8 years even while jumping out of airplanes as an active-duty soldier in the United States Army. While serving as a soldier, I tried to teach myself about nutrition through countless google searches, ultimately realizing that there had to be other people just as confused as me. I was tired of feeling controlled by my food, feeling sluggish in my workouts, and not reaching my performance goals. It was then I decided to make nutrition my business and I dedicated myself to learning everything there is to know about it.

My nutrition practice is founded on the strong belief that health and wellness isn’t merely the absence of disease, but thriving mentally and physically in your life. Achieving your goals and dreams and not letting your health, body, or mindset hold you back. While I love to help anyone who has a desire to improve their lives and a willingness to learn, I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, helping women overcome disordered eating and improve their relationship with food and their body, digestive disorders like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), chronic constipation, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, and Celiac Disease, and sports nutrition.

I earned my bachelors degree in Dietetics at The University of Dayton, and completed my Accredited Dietetic Internship through The Ohio State University. I am a nationally registered and state licensed dietitian (in Ohio, Kentucky, and Missouri) as well as a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT). I grew up in Michigan but I currently live in Dayton, Ohio with my husband and three little boys. We have a crazy Coonhound named Ky and we love to garden and hike.
